Weighing and packing line with a multi-head electronic weigher and a JN-ZK1 bagging machine.

This weighing and packing installation for onions, potatoes, carrots and other similar produce consists out of:

• in-feed elevator, the gray box at the right. The infeed elevator has to be wide to be able to supply all ten weigher heads with product.
• multi-head electronic weigher CW10, for some close-ups go: CW10.
• machine for single bags JN-ZK1 or ''Bagmaster''.

This installation is capable to bag bags of 0.8 kg to 25kg.

Because of the multi-head weigher this installation is suitable to weigh and bag bags as small as 0.8 kg with relative big products, like onions, potatoes or root beets. The WHY is explained here: weighing principles.

As can be seen in the picture the product has to fed into the very wide hopper to guarantee the filling of the 10 weigher hoppers by an very wide in-feed elevator. After weighing the product goes to a bagging machine called ''Bagmaster''.

Capacities:

The single bagging machine starts being a restriction on the capacity for bags smaller than 2 kg. It is advisable to employ different packing equipment for weights below 2 kg.

The bigger the bags the higher the capacity.

• Mash bags of 25 kg: 800 bags per hour or 20.000 kg per hour.
• Mash bags of 10 kg: 1.500 bags per hour or 15.000 kg per hour.
• Mash bags of 0.8 kg: 10.000 bags per hour or 8,000 kg per hour.

The elevator, weighing and bagging equipment can be aligned in any way imaginable. But this lay-out gives a good impression of the space required for this kind of installation.

IMPORTANT: Other packing materials are also possible. It is perfectly okay to place box packing installation or a paper or plastic bag filler at the outlet of the weighing machine.
