The function of heaters and evaporatorsº in storage systems for potatoes, onions or other crops, is to add or remove energy from the internal air.
Heaters, evaporators (for cooling), and the innovative Vacc Tek, to control the temperature of your facility.
The function of heaters and evaporatorº is to raise or lower the temperature of your produce, and that of the internal air in your facility; this is achieved by adding or removing heat from the internal air.
º Cooling systems have two parts:
1. The evaporators, where the refrigerant is evaporated in the evaporators and during this process extracts heat from the area to be cooled. (extracting heat)
2. The condenser, or compressor, where the evaporated refrigerant is compressed (condensed) back into liquid. (generating heat)
Therefore the evaporators are inside and the condenser or compressor is outside the facility.
This principle is the bases of the efficiency of the Vacc Tek.

Propane gas air heaters are switched on and off in a modulated manner.
